Wow so. My arrival in Taiwan was greeted by a driver at the airport in a nice ass Lexus. A bit much for an insignificant turd like me, but I enjoyed every single minute!
The dorm I’m in is not really a dorm at all. It’s a 3br/2.5ba apartment located about thirty minutes walking from the company. It’s super nice! It’s so relieving to finally had a full kitchen and inhome washer dryer. I’m sharing my apartment with a nice guy named James, who is also from the fountain valley office. He has been here six months and will return around the same time as me.
There are a multitude of small restaurants and a billion 7/11s within the immediate walking vicinity. Super convenient. The high speed rail is also bout fifteen minutes walking from my apartment.
I stopped by the supermarket and got excited to finally make hotpot without fear of contracting some disease from the meat. I put it all back after I realized I probably won’t have much time at all to eat it. Left with the essentials- kimchi, eggs, rice, and a cute container to store the left overs in..
I have four sets of keys- one for the main building, the security door, the door, and my inner door. Not a pleasant thing since the moment I step into the elevator, the first thing I think about is my AC.
IT IS SO FREAKING HOT IN TAIWAN. and it’s not even the worst of it. I will need to buy more tshirts.
Sent via boxers in bed in front of the AC on full blast.
